Autumn Beauty Wishlist

These are the top five beauty items I’d like to add to my collection this season. The last few months, I’ve been focused on face and lip products and am pretty happy with my collection in those departments. This fall I’d like to add more eye products to my arsenal.

Mac Warm Neutral Eyeshadow Palette – I don’t own any Mac shadows, but everyone says they’re amazing. I was going to build my own 15 pan palette, but it’s cheaper to buy the ready-made palette. Also, this warm neutral one has all the colours I love, there isn’t one I wouldn’t use. So yes, I’d be losing the customizability, but I’m okay with that if I like all the shades, which I do with this one. I love warm shadows year round, but especially in the autumn.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser – Once the cooler months come around I prefer to use more gentle cleansers to prevent my skin from drying out too much. I’ve used samples of this particular cleanser, and have liked it. My skin is still oily in the fall/ winter, but I sometimes get dry patches on my cheeks caused by my more ‘stripping’ cleansers.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – People have been talking about this mascara for months. I hadn’t gotten it earlier because I’ve been working my way through my stash, but it’s time for something new to try. I’m usually a drugstore mascara gal, but this looks worth the splurge.

L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper – I love a good brow gel, add in some ‘plumping’ fibres, seems like a winner. I love low-maintenance brow products when I’m in a rush.

Jessie’s Girl Eyeshadow Primer – Kathleen Light’s is always saying how great this is. I have quite oily eye lids and am curious how well this will hold up. Also, it’s super affordable!

Great list! That MAC palette is gorgeous. I definitely have my eye on that one too! I got the MACnificent Me palette recently (my first MAC eyeshadow purchase) and have been loving it. That mascara is great too. And I just tried a sample of the eyeshadow primer last week when I couldn't find my NARS one, and it's actually really good!

I like the Benefit Roller Lash but I find that I don't reach for it all the time. Mainly because while it does give a little bit of curl to my lashes, it hardly feels like I'm putting any mascara on because it goes on very thin. So I usually like to use it along side different mascaras. The packaging is sooo pretty though!

I do like to have a more 'natural' mascara in my collection, so that's okay with me. But, thanks for letting me know I can layer it with another mascara! I'm definitely going to try that, maybe with a volumizing one.
