Drugstore Haul | October 2015

Much like the items in my last haul, these have been waiting around for awhile. I’ve been picking these up here and there for the last month, and am pretty happy with the items I’ve used so far!

The two nail polish purchases are heavily inspired by Kathleen Lights. OPI in It’s a Piazza Cake from the fall Venice collection is the nail polish version of Ofra liquid lipstick in Miami Fever, which I also have and love. Essie in Leggy Legend, also from their fall 2015 collection, is a beautiful metallic bronze with a bit of gold and green reflects. Both polishes are stunning for fall, and all I’ve been wearing on my nails.

Zoe Sugg wore this lipstick in a vlog not too long ago and it looked incredible! Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry is a beautiful blacken cherry colour. It is super bold, but gorgeous for this time of year.

I ‘needed’ to add a nude eyeliner to my collection, as I didn’t have anything brightening to add to my waterline. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude will be the perfect item.

I actually picked up this by mistake. The L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara will be great for adding a ton of volume, and has a bristle brush that I like. However, I’d actually meant to pick up L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black, but was in a rush. Rookie mistake, but I will still use this, it just does a completely different job than the other.

I am always trying new dry shampoos. But, I do always need to have at least one bottle of Batiste on the go, just in case another doesn’t work so great. It has definitely been my holy grail. This is the first time I’ve tried the Blush scent, and it’s not too floral-y. It has to be my second favourite scent so far, after the Wild one.

Now, I haven’t used the Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo enough to be 100% sure, but, we may have a viable contender to over take Batiste. I am loving this product, and am super impressed! It is also $5 cheaper. I may do a full review so I won’t go into too much detail right now. But be sure to follow this blog to come back for an update.

Last but not least, I bought two neutral Wet n Wild eyeshadow palettes. On the left we have Walking on Eggshells. This is a classic, super easy for an everyday eye look. The colours are clearly marked to beginners. And the classic neutral look would pair perfectly with a fall appropriate bold lip. On the right is Comfort Zone. The left side is more warm, again an easy everyday look. The right is smokier, great for a night out. Or you could of course mix the two sides as you see fit.

What have you bought from the drugstore recently?

Emily ♥
