V. E. Schwab has the more beautiful prose. This story was stunning! We have endless layers and nuance. I feel that this would be a wonderful book club pick because there are so many topics touched on that can be interpreted in different ways.
A bit slow and repetitive, but with a purpose. I found myself feeling a smidge bored in parts, but that is necessary to connect with our main characters. It was beautifully done.
Almost cried. Beautiful. Stunning. I understand the hype this book has gotten. Pick it up if you haven’t already!
