Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

I’ve been looking for a replacement to my beloved The Body Shop Love Etc. perfume for awhile. That perfume holds a lot of memories for me and Jeremy. I wore it all the time when me and Jeremy first started dating (I was 17), and have worn it most date nights since, it reminds us of ‘old times’, being carefree and spontaneous.

Not only was I about to use the last of it, but I think it went bad. It now has a strong alcohol smell. It had lasted quite a long time though, approximately six years I’d say.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Love Etc. has been discontinued. 

I started the hunt for a similar perfume. I found Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy. The notes are very similar, but Viva La Juicy smells more fresh, yet still sexy, more grown up, slightly fruity. One thing I could do without is the gaudy packaging. I prefer more classic, timeless bottles to display on my shelf.

The Juicy Couture website describes the perfume as a ‘combination of delicious wild berries, creamy vanilla and jasmine’.

Love Etc.’s notes were sandalwood, vanilla and jasmine.

I am excited to wear this on our next date and make some new memories.
