What I Got For Christmas | 2015

Today I would like to share with you a handful of the gifts I received for Christmas. I’ve chosen items that I thought were relevant to what we normally talk about here at emilynmax. I will do my best to keep descriptions brief, and am open to full review suggestions in the comments.

This Christmas I received a ton of LUSH products, which I’m super excited to use. I’ve photographed a few above, but not all.
Golden Wonder bath bomb – which is covered in gold glitter, and contains a turquoise surprise inside.
Celestial Moisturizer – formulated for sensitive skin.
Love and Light Hand Cream –  This smells incredible!
Buffy Body Butter – Is this the ones Tanya Burr loves? I’ve never used one of these from LUSH before and am intrigued by the concept.
Twilight Shower Gel – This lavender scented shower gel will be amazing just before bed!
The Comforter Shower Cream – LUSH describes this scent as a cuddle in a bottle, how cute!
Thank you to my mom, brother Sam, and hubby for these lovely products.

Sephora Collection Tools of the Trade Brush Set – This set is perfect! It contains the following brushes: powder, small contour, fan, blending shadow, precision shadow, smudger, angled liner, and a brow comb/brush. This is the perfect addition to my brush collection, and the brush roll will be so handy for travelling. Thank you Dad and Clare! 

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette – How gorgeous is this palette?! I have used this once for my New Years makeup look, and the shadows are amazing. I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this palette; many people complaining about the colour selection, but I think it’s genius. I am able to use 12/15 shadows on an everyday basis, with the three colourful ones for special occasions. Isn’t that what a palette should be for your everyday gal? Thank you mom, it’s beautiful!

I also got a MAC gift card from Jeremy’s parents, and a Sephora gift card from my Dad and step-mom. So thank you everyone! I will post a haul with what I pick out 🙂

I just thought this heart eye emoji key chain was too cute not to share! This was from my mom, *cough cough* I mean Santa, as it was in my stocking.

My wonderful, fabulous, amazing hubby bought me a Nikon Coolpix L32 camera, with a note on it saying ‘follow your dreams’. I hadn’t asked for a new, better quality camera, but he picked one out for me all by himself, and it was such a thoughtful gift that I actually cried. He has been so supportive of my blog this year, even though it cuts into ‘our time’ quite a bit. Thank you Jeremy, I love you.

I am incredibly grateful for all the gifts my loved ones got me, not just the few I’ve shared here today, but I enjoyed spending time with them over the holiday season even more.
