December Ipsy Bag | 2016
The last Ipsy bag of the year. Ironically, the last Ipsy post on this blog was the first bag of the year. This month’s theme is ‘carpe p.m.’, a clever play on words. As loud and not me this month’s bag is – I kind of love it! It would be a great party clutch if you were in a pinch. It’s texture reminds me of faux pony hair, like that on leopard print shoes.
Benefit POREfessional Primer – This is one of my favourite pore filling primers. It provides a smoother base to apply foundation. Having a sample size will be great for if I travel anywhere.
Nip + Fab Exfoliate Glycolic Fix Serum – I’ve heard great things about this brand. This serum is said to improve texture, smooth fine lines and wrinkles and visibly reduce the appearance of pores. It’s claims are similar to the Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment.
Ouai Wave Spray – Ouai seems to be becoming quite the popular brand. I’m excited to try this out and see how it differs to other wave sprays I’ve tried in the past which were more along the lines of sea salt sprays that made your hair feel dirty and sticky.
Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in WCW – These sounds awfully similar to the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints which are a fraction of the cost. However, I have yet to try this Tarte one so I can’t say definitively. This shade is a beautiful berry tone – perfect for the winter months. I’m becoming more and more of a gloss girl as well which is shocking – even to me.
M Princess Eyeshadow in Melting Maple – This is a gorgeous loose, copper eyeshadow – super reflective. I’m not one to usually fuss with loose eyeshadows, but I may be convinced to play around with this one. You guys know how much I love my warm tones!
This month’s bag was another 5/5 for me. Ipsy has really been hitting it out of the park! 4/5 of the brands were high end, and well known, which rarely happens. What did you get in your Ipsy bag this month?
