Spring Wardrobe Wishlist

Spring is right around the corner, or so I’ve been told. Here in Halifax we just got another 10+ cm of snow. However, when spring finally decides to show up, I want to be ready.

Here are the five items I’d like to add to my wardrobe to transition into the warmer months to come.

1. Ripped Jeans

I have been seeing these everywhere, so glad this trend is back. I love the light wash of this pair from American Eagle. They will easily take me into spring and summer.

2. Light-Weight Jacket

Living in Halifax, you need a good rain coat in the spring. I love the bright yellow colour of this Rains one. It’s light-weight, cute and functional!

3. Black Booties

I’ve been keeping my eye out for a classic, versatile black booties with a short heel for awhile now. This pair from Aldo caught my eye. I think these will go with almost anything; jeans, dresses, shorts.

4. Jumpsuit

I’ve dreamed of the day I’d be able to pull off a jumpsuit. I’ve decided that this spring I’m going to make it happen. I saw this one in the window of Le Chateau and have been wanting to go back to pick it up every since. This would be ideal with a blazer for a killer office outfit.

5. Kimono

I didn’t really get into the kimono trend last year, but since it is back again I thought I’d give it a go. There’s just something about a kimono that gives a look a casual, relaxed feel. I think it will look nice with a basic white or black tee and some denim shorts and maybe the booties above.
