Top 5 Autumn/Winter Lipsticks | 2015

Today I wanted to talk to you about my top five lipsticks for autumn/winter this year. I had a bit of a hard time coming up with these five, because many were too similar, or were not available anymore, and I wanted to share ones you could still pick up if you wanted.
I’ve chosen 3 standard lipsticks, and 2 liquid lipsticks. The four starting on the left are matte, and the last one on the right is and cream formula. The matte lip trend has definitely continued into fall, and I much prefer the matte formula on darker tones because they are more long-lasting, and I’m not worried about them smearing across my face throughout the day, and I don’t have to reapply as often.
L-R: Rimmel 107, Ofra Miami Fever, Maybelline Touch of Spice, Too Faced Melted Fig, Revlon Black Cherry
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in 107This shade is the perfect deep red, cool tone, blue based, with a purple twist. This lipstick has been made popular by Zoe Sugg, and it truly is a beautiful colour.
Ofra x Kathleen Lights in Miami Fever – This screams autumn to me. It’s a unique burnt orange shade, that I’ve never seen in a lipstick before. I get so many compliments when I wear this. As you all know by now, Kathleen is one of my favourite YouTubers and I love supporting her by buying her colaborations. This is limited edition, so if you want it, go now! It’s already been sold out before but because it was so popular, they brought it back one more time.
Maybelline Matte in 660 Touch of Spice – This dark mauve is so wearable! The Maybelline Matte lipsticks are my favourite drugstore matte formulation. If I’m not going for a nude, this shade is my go-to for everyday.
Too Faced Melted in Melted Fig – On the Sephora website it is described as a rosy orchid, which is spot on. It’s a unique twist on a purple lipstick that makes it more wearable. The applicator on these melted lipsticks are great too which is important with such a bold colour.
Revlon Super Lustrous in 477 Black Cherry –  This deep, blacken cherry shade makes a statement. This is the only crème shade I’ve included in my top five, but this is still incredibly long wearing. As you can see in the swatch above, it is not nearly as dark as it appears in the bullet. It also makes your teeth look super white!
Which lipsticks are in your top 5 for autumn/winter? Are there any I should pick up?
Emily ♥
