Maxwell Turned 5!

On Saturday, January 16th, 2016 Maxwell turned five years old! I’m proud of the little man he’s becoming. He’s smart, thoughtful, and still snuggles his mama, even just for a minute. I love you so much Max!

Saturday, Max had a great time in the midst of a snow storm, glow-in-the-dark mini-putting with his closest friends, eating pizza and ice cream cake, and playing arcade games.

Sunday, we had family and friends over to our place for a more low-key party.

Maxwell had a great birthday weekend, but I’m also kind of glad it’s over. Hosting kid’s parties are exhausting, and I’m always sad that he’s growing up so fast; it just hits harder when it’s his actual birthday.

I’m such an emotional wreck looking back on baby pictures of Maxwell. He’s getting so big. I can’t believe I need to register him for Elementary school now! I need to make a bigger effort to take more pictures, as the older he’s gotten, fewer pictures are taken. I think it’s because we’re so much busier; always on the go. I want to spend the time playing with him rather than standing back to get pictures.
