I’m Shedding Again!

They say you don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone, boy is that true.

A few months ago my hair shed so bad, in the shower I’d lose handfuls! I also noticed that my scalp was becoming quite itchy and irritated, and my hair was lacking volume.

I didn’t even consider it could have been the shampoo I was using, Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship, I had blamed it on the dry winter air.

While browsing the hair care aisle I came across the Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Volumizing Root Boost shampoo and conditioner. My prayers had been answered!

This stuff is amazing! I immediately noticed my scalp wasn’t as irritated, and my hair had more volume. The one thing I hadn’t taken notice of was my shedding situation, I had completely forgotten it was even an issue.

Fast forward to this week when I ran out of the shampoo but not the conditioner. (Side note: do you run out of shampoo or conditioner first?) Having forgotten about my previous problems, I just grabbed my other shampoo off the shelf to use until I ran out of the conditioner as well, then I’d go buy something else.

What a huge mistake that was. After two shampoos my hair was falling out by the handful all over again. I guess now I know what the culprit was, in the garbage you go.

I went and purchased more of the Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy shampoo and conditioner, this time in Total Care.
