My First Ipsy Bag

My love for subscription boxes probably stems from watching a ton of unboxing videos on YouTube each month. The prospect of getting a small present for myself in the mail every month for a small price is just so exciting!

The price of the Ipsy subscription is $10/month (or $110 for a yearly subscription) plus $4.95/shipping (to Canada). I tihnk this is a great deal for the amount, and quality or products you receive each month.

Let’s take a look at what I got.

The month’s theme is #IpsyLOVE for Valentine’s Day.

First off, the products come in a cute makeup bag each month. This month’s is hot pink will a waterproof texture. It will be easy to clean if any products leak or make a mess.

Luxie 504 Large Angled brush. How pretty is this brush? It is light pink with rose gold. I think it’ll be good for contouring.

Pencil Me In eye liner in Amethyst. This seems to be just your average purple eye liner, though it does have a sharpener in the cap which will come in handy.

MODEL Co blush in Peach Bellini. This bright peach shade is perfect as we are coming into the Spring season. It has quite the sheen to it just based on a swatch I did on my hand, but there is no obvious glitter.

Cargo lip gloss in Anguilla. This is your everyday light pink gloss, everyone should have one in their collection; it’s a staple.

Last but not least, Eva NYC Up All Night Volumizing Spray. The packaging says it will add volume and texture, protects against heat styling, and is for all hair types.
