The Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo was featured in my most recent drugstore haul, in which I made a big claim. I may like this slightly more than my beloved Batiste. Claims “Refreshes between washes. Absorbs oil between traditional washes so hair looks and feels refreshed. Weightless formula cleans to transform lifeless hair, so you can enjoy fresh, volumized hair, even when you skip your regular wash.” Product Overview The packaging is sleek and classy. October Favourites
October was a very stressful month for me and I’m glad it’s over. However, this month ended on a good note with Halloween. Drugstore Haul | October 2015
Much like the items in my last haul, these have been waiting around for awhile. I’ve been picking these up here and there for the last month, and am pretty happy with the items I’ve used so far! The two nail polish purchases are heavily inspired by Kathleen Lights. OPI in It’s a Piazza Cake from the fall Venice collection is the nail polish version of Ofra liquid lipstick in Miami Fever, which I also have and love. We Are All Beautiful!
I always skip the ads that play before/ during YouTube videos. Today I got distracted, and I’m so glad I did because the commercial that played was so powerful! I’m talking about the Dove Choose Beautiful commercial. After watching this I was left with tears in my eyes, and a feeling of empowerment like I haven’t felt in a very long time. Women (and men) are made to feel average on a daily basis, it just seems to be the way it is – BUT IT SHOULDN’T BE!! We are all beautiful! You should never be made to feel anything but that.
