Ipsy August 2015 Unboxing
This months theme is Prep School. I cannot believe back to school is right around the corner!
As always, let’s start with the bag. I’m not a fan. I don’t like the houndstooth and hot pink combination, and the geometric texture is strange. Also, I cannot even identify the material this is made from, something plastic-y.
But it’s what’s inside that counts so, moving on from the negative:
Albertini International Divine Skin Hydrator – This in shower body moisturizer is unscented, and I feel it will be perfect in the winter when my skin is more dry.
Eco-Beauty Good Night. Night Cream – Super hydration for smoother and plumper looking skin. If you read my skincare overhaul post, you’d know I’ve been battling with dehydrated, yet super oily skin. I will definitely be giving this product a good try.
Noyah All-Natural Lipstick in Desert Rose – This lipstick is a beautiful pink shade. I also like that it’s all-natural, it’s not something I actively seek out in my products but I appreciate it when I get them. You can also get 15% off and a free lip balm at noyah.com using the code noyahROSES. Valid until Sept 30, 2015.
Lord & Berry Nude Lipliner – This is a great brown nude shade, which I’ve been loving recently.
I feel that both of these lip products will be long lasting because I can still see the swatches on my arm a few hours, and a makeup wipe later.
Doll 10 HydraGel Cream Blush in Flirt – The packaging on this is cute! But I feel the blush may be a bit too dark for me. I will be giving this a chance, but I’m worried. This is peachy, rosy colour, which might look nice when I have a bit more of a tan.
Overall, I’m pleased with the selection of products I received this month, but not the bag.

Ooh that cream blush looks really pretty and rosy! I'm sure blended with a soft touch it will look great 🙂

I have since tried it, and really like it! Its super blendable, I think I may even like it more than my Stila Convertible.
