Drugstore Haul | September 2015

It has been over a month since my last haul post, so I thought it was about time to share with you what I’ve been picking up from the drugstore since then.
I have also discovered, in the back of my closet, a couple new photo backdrops, please let me know what you think of this one in the comments.
Revlon Nail Polish in 725 Provocative – I love the formula of these polishes, and didn’t have a orange-y red (more orange) in my collection. This polish is kind of like my last tribute to summer, and have been wearing it as much as possible until breaking out the dark and neutral colours.
Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir in 085 Hibiscus Haven – I saw this shade on Kristi’s blog – Be Loverly (post here) awhile ago. Already knowing I love the shade I have, I wanted to pick up another, and this one was on clearance for $4.39, what a bargain!
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 01 – These lipsticks are my number one from the drugstore! The only reds I have are matte, and I felt I “needed” a creamier formula as well. This just seems to be a great classic red, and in a formula I love.
Real Techniques Stippling Brush – I needed a better brush for cream blush. My other stippling brush picked up too much product, and was too flimsy. This one is much denser, and I’ve seen a few YouTuber’s use it for just this purpose, though I haven’t used it yet.
Real Techniques Setting Brush – I don’t doubt this would be a great brush for setting concealer, but I intend on using it for highlight. It’s not too dense, and has a tapered point, which will fit nicely on my cheekbones.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – I do not own a Beauty Blender, but want one. So I thought I’d dip my toes in the makeup sponge application world with this one. I realize it will not be as good, but know it’s a good product nonetheless and am excited to try it.
Can you tell there was a sale on Real Techniques? *wink*
CoLab Dry Shampoo in Rio – I have stepped away from Batiste for a moment, and am trying a new dry shampoo, I know, I know, I didn’t think this day would come either. I like this tropical scent much more than Batiste’s one, it’s less potent. I’ve heard Suzie (Hello October) mention she prefers this when applied overnight, without rubbing it in, so I will try that.
What have you purchased recently?
Emily ♥
