Review | Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo
The Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo was featured in my most recent drugstore haul, in which I made a big claim. I may like this slightly more than my beloved Batiste. Claims “Refreshes between washes. Absorbs oil between traditional washes so hair looks and feels refreshed. Weightless formula cleans to transform lifeless hair, so you can enjoy fresh, volumized hair, even when you skip your regular wash.” Product Overview The packaging is sleek and classy. Quite a lot bigger than the Batiste, but still not bulky. The scent is clean and fresh, much like other Dove products I have used in the past. It does linger all day in your hair.…

After stating in my last empties post, that I’d be doing them monthly… I skipped last month. Oops. In my defense, I only finished around 3 products, so I didn’t feel it would be worth sharing. Over the last two months I have finished 7 beauty products. Body LaVanila The Healthy Body Butter in Pure Vanilla – After seeing this product featured in one of Kathleen Lights favourites videos, I had remembered I received a sample in my Ipsy bag. October Favourites
October was a very stressful month for me and I’m glad it’s over. However, this month ended on a good note with Halloween. I’m not super into Halloween but I always enjoy getting Maxwell ready in his costume, and going trick-or-treating with him. You can see his costume on my Instagram (@emilynmax, links in the sidebar). Drugstore Haul | October 2015
Much like the items in my last haul, these have been waiting around for awhile. I’ve been picking these up here and there for the last month, and am pretty happy with the items I’ve used so far! The two nail polish purchases are heavily inspired by Kathleen Lights. OPI in It’s a Piazza Cake from the fall Venice collection is the nail polish version of Ofra liquid lipstick in Miami Fever, which I also have and love. Review | COLAB Dry Shampoo
If you saw my most recent drugstore haul post, you’d know I decided to cheat on my beloved Batiste, and try a new dry shampoo. So I picked up the COLAB dry shampoo in Rio, which is in the tropical scent. Claims “Keep that clean hair feel for longer & instantly revitalise your look with COLAB’s ready-to-wear dry shampoo. It absorbs oil & refreshes roots with a residue-free, lightweight finish & leaves a veil of fashion fragrance.” Product Overview This is going to basically be a comparison to my favourite dry shampoo – Batiste. Skincare Aveeno Fresh Essentials Anti-Fatigue Eye Roller – Reduces the look of puffiness and dark circles. The metal roller felt amazing under the eyes in the mornings. Though this was only a sample, it lasted for ages. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for something cooling and depuffing in the morning.
