ColourPop Haul and Review

When I heard that Kathleen Lights, who is my favourite YouTuber of the moment, was coming out with a foursome collaboration with ColourPop, I knew I wanted to get it.
I purchased both her Where The Light Is foursome, and her lippie stix and pencil in Lumière. I also bought the lippie stix and pencil in Frida, which was an older collaboration with CoffeeBreakwithDani, another YouTuber I enjoy watching.
The foursome was $20, which I think is a fair price considering their individual shadows are $5 each. Each lippie stix and pencil were $5. In my opinion, these are great prices, even better than many brands at the drugstore, with a great quality product.
ColourPop Super Shock shadows have the strangest texture. They are somewhere between a cream and a mousse. It also says on the box to ensure you are closing the lids tightly so they don’t dry out.
This foursome is very warm toned, which is what I prefer, at least right now.
The packaging is beautiful, which the metallic design, and the quote that means so much to Kathleen herself.
As you can see from the picture, one of my shadows did get smashed during shipping, but because of their texture I decided not to return it because it will still work the same, I just patted it back into place as best I could.
The first shadow is Blaze, which has a metallic finish. This is similar to the Mac shadow Texture. This has a ton of glitter, and comes off a bit green in the swatch.
Second, Kathleen Lights, which has a pearlized finish. This is Kathleen’s personal favourite from the foursome. It is a ‘dupe’ for the Mac shadow Amber Lights, though it is more intense.
The last two shades are both matte, the warm brown is called Cornelious, after her favourite dog.  This shadow is buildable so you can easily deepen the colour if you wanted.
The highlight shade is called Glow, which was pretty much impossible to photograph, as you can tell. This shade will be gorgeous as a brow highlight, or even in the inner corner if you didn’t want it to be shimmery. This shade will not suit every skin tone, so keep that in mind.
Here are the Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils. How cute are the names of their lip products?
Lumière is another collaboration between Kathleen Lights and ColourPop. The name combines two of her favourite things, Paris and lights. This shade will suit everyone, and every makeup look. It is a great matte, darker mauve colour. This is a colour dupe (not formula) for the Nars Audacious lipstick in Anna, which is a $37 lipstick, this is $5.. need I say more?
Frida, as mentioned before, is a collaboration with CoffeeBreakwithDani. This colour is very hard to describe, it’s a bit pink, peach, orange, nude, but not? and is a satin finish. I cannot wait to wear these all summer long, if summer ever shows up for those of us on the East Coast.
Have you guys tried any ColourPop products?
