  • Sephora Haul | October 2015

These products have been sitting in a box, unopened for over a month because I usually wait until I have five new products to share. I know, that’s ridiculous, because then I don’t get to use my new products, but I’d like to take photos before they’re used. However, I couldn’t wait any longer to use the fall lip products! Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleanser – I needed something to spot clean my brushes, so I picked up this little spray bottle. It’s great for people like me that don’t have too many eye brushes, so I can easily switch colours. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer – Casey Holmes…

  • Ipsy September 2015 Unboxing

Sorry this post is coming later than usual, I just received my bag Friday and am just getting a chance to sit down and blog now. But hopefully you’re still interested in seeing what I got in my bag. This month’s theme is Face Fashion, with the beautiful Katy (LustreLux) on the front of the card. The bag is cute for fall. I love the textured front part, and the metallic finish. It’s also a good size, long enough to put in brushes for travelling. Trèstique Matte Lip Crayon in Nantucket Nude – This peach-y nude would look great on fair skin-tones. I haven’t tried it on yet, but it…

  • Drugstore Haul | September 2015

It has been over a month since my last haul post, so I thought it was about time to share with you what I’ve been picking up from the drugstore since then. I have also discovered, in the back of my closet, a couple new photo backdrops, please let me know what you think of this one in the comments. Revlon Nail Polish in 725 Provocative – I love the formula of these polishes, and didn’t have a orange-y red (more orange) in my collection. This polish is kind of like my last tribute to summer, and have been wearing it as much as possible until breaking out the dark…

I’ve been hearing about Makeup Geek for awhile now and never had the chance to try it. When I saw on Twitter that they were having a sale on the Starter Kit, I thought it’d be the perfect opportunity. • New Goodies | Drugstore and Sephora Haul

Happy Saturday! This month has been a spendy one! I have a few packages en route still, so expect another haul post soon. If hauls aren’t your thing – don’t worry I also have a few reviews in the works. Batiste Dry Shampoo – This time I purchased my favourite dry shampoo in the Original scent. The Wild scent is still my favourite, but this one is probably runner up. I usually buy Batiste at Marshalls to get it a bit cheaper. Formula X Base Coat – I had run out of my previous base coat, which is shown in my latest empties post. I’ve heard good things about this…

  • FOTD – Where The Light Is

After writing my post on the Colourpop x Kathleen Lights collaboration, I thought I should show you guys this foursome in action. For this look I loosely followed the tutorial that Kathleen Lights has up on her channel – watch it here. As I said in my previous post, the texture of these shadows is the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced; but I kind of love it! I have yet to find the perfect brushes to apply these shadows with, I believe they’d work best with more dense brushes, or your fingers of course. • A Week of Favourites

So, I thought every once in a while I’d throw together a few items that I’ve been loving for the past week and share it with you guys. So, let me know if you want me to continue to do this. Mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex – I have a sample size of this mascara that I’ve been using all week. It provides the perfect amount of volume in my opinion. And I love the bristle wand, as opposed to a plastic one. I will definitely buy the full size when this is done.  http://seph.me/1hTJqKX  Lip Combo: Essence lip liner in 11 In The Nude, Cargo lip gloss in…
