BEAUTY REVIEW Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara
Saturday was a sad day. I finished off yet another tube of the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara. Now, this mascara costs a pretty penny at C$33, and I would never pay that much for a mascara in my life. I have received both tubes I’ve used for “free”, through a subscription box and Sephora’s Lash Stash To-Go. This mascara is flipping amazing! It gives me intense black colour, and a ton of volume. I find it has a similar wand to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, but this formula is less dry and doesn’t flake on me. One con, if your eyes water, this will smear; though…

After stating in my last empties post, that I’d be doing them monthly… I skipped last month. Oops. In my defense, I only finished around 3 products, so I didn’t feel it would be worth sharing. Over the last two months I have finished 7 beauty products. Body LaVanila The Healthy Body Butter in Pure Vanilla – After seeing this product featured in one of Kathleen Lights favourites videos, I had remembered I received a sample in my Ipsy bag. Since my last empties post, I’ve decided to try to do one monthly, if I have enough products to share with you. Skincare Lush Tea Tree Water Toner – I only used about 2/3 of this product, but it has expired. I thought this was a great toner for my acne prone skin, but not for everyday as it can be a bit drying. I won’t be repurchasing anytime soon as I’m trying out a few others. Remember in my first empties post when I said it would be too daunting to do a huge post? He he whoops! Here we go! Skincare Aveeno Fresh Essentials Anti-Fatigue Eye Roller – Reduces the look of puffiness and dark circles. The metal roller felt amazing under the eyes in the mornings. Though this was only a sample, it lasted for ages. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for something cooling and depuffing in the morning.
